Marvel’s Daredevil is a comic superhero whose story was adapted into a series of same name. This series was released on Netflix and is undoubtedly the most loved superhero series on the platform. The series received three nominations for Emmy in 2015, for creative categories and visual effects.
Charlie Cox who plays the titular character lives a dual life of a lawyer by the day- Matt Murdock, and a super hero who fights off bad guys in the night- Daredevil. The series went on for three years from 2015 to 2018, until it came to an end due to contract issues between Marvel Cinematic Universe and Netflix.
Future of Daredevil
Though the fans are hoping to see their favorite characters once more on their screens, Cox was found saying that getting the whole cast on board again might be difficult, in his words- “When you make a television show, it’s so complicated, and people’s schedules are so difficult, and contracts are so difficult. So that’s why when, as an actor, when you sign onto a TV show, you sign six years of your life away. Because, if you don’t do that, it becomes too complicated to try and get all these moving pieces.”
However since Marvel has now established its online market with Disney- all thanks to the success of WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki series,- the fans can expect Disney to revive Daredevil for a fourth season.
Daredevil to be seen with Spider man?
As Tom Holland is all set to get back with another adventure of Peter Parker as Spiderman in his third Spiderman movie, fans are speculating the presence of Doctor Strange and Daredevil in the movie as well. Spiderman will be continue from a really tragic cliffhanger for the fans.
Since both the superheroes are from New York City, linking their stories might not be a problem at all. They both are friendly neighborhood heroes after all. So if the rumor’s are to be believed, instead of web series, this time Daredevil will be seen in a movie.
