New Pokémon Snap is all set to get release soon on the Nintendo switch. The original Pokémon snap was released back in 1999 on the Nintendo 64 which presented Todd Snap which played the role of a young photographer. This version was known for it’s feature of taking photos of over 60 different Pokémon using cameras of the time. However, the game successfully attracted the players with its focus on photography and impressing Professor Oak with skillful snapshots.
What’s New in this New Pokémon Snap
This new Pokémon snap will bring the feature of taking photograph of more than 200 Pokémon, earning ratings from Professor Mirror along with sharing favorite moments with friends. Recently, the director of Bandai Namco Studio Haruki Suzaki wrote that ‘The world in which wild Pokémon live is offered to the best of the Nintendo Switch’s hardware capabilities, also the aim of the game is to scrutinize that world. Once the players have taken a photo, they can edit and share it online with people around the globe.’
Further Suzaki wrote, ‘We took the concept of snapping Pokémon in their natural surroundings and revamped it to the Nintendo Switch’s hardware in a way that suits today’s photo culture. The consequence is an easy game of taking pictures in a world where Pokémon are alive and fit in nature, simultaneously there is a variety of contemporary ways to play with photography.’
