An infamous drug lord, who goes by the name El Rubio, an infamous drug dealer has embezzled Madrazo family’s sensitive documents, and he is trying to blackmail them. Madrazos will do everything to get the documents back. They have asked for your help and also a Russian submarine operator named Pavel, to raid Cayo Perico and retrieve them back.
You can play GTA: Cayo Perico Heist solo as well as in multiplayer mode.
GTA Cayo Perico Heist Mission List
There are three missions in the Cayo Perico Heist. We have made a comprehensive list to guide you through the heist.
The Intel
In the Intel mission, at the Los Santos Airport, you will have to meet English Dave and Keinemusik. Once you reach the island, you’ll be accosted by Rubio and his company.
Rubio will want you to drive his jeep while the group gets ready. Follow Rubio’s directions to reach the private beach. Eventually, the beach party will start, providing you an opportunity to pass through the guards.
Explore the important places on the island.
Make sure you explore as many intel targets as you can. Explore all the important points in the GTA Cayo Perico Heist. Your Primary target is Madrazo Files. Secondary targets on the island include a painting and gold stash. There’s also cash and weed.
There are eight Infiltration points. You will have four escape routes. You will have six points to enter the Compound.
There’s a whole lot of stuff for you to find on the island. But this is the minimum you will need to continue further. Once you are done, go to the airstrip, take a photo of the control tower, send it to Pavel, then talk to the pilot to go back home.
Cayo Perico Heist Preparation
In order to complete the heist, you will have to meet all the conditions on the checklist of required equipment to play the mission easily. The heist prep requires:
- You have to obtain and control five approach vehicles.
- You have to collect three pieces of equipment.
- You have to acquire one weapon loadout.
- You have to create three disruptions.
However, there are several other optional objectives that you will have to finish to run the mission smoothly. Also, if you just want to finish the heist as quickly as possible, you are going to need a Kosatka submarine, any one of the five different loadouts and all the equipment pieces. The others are extra, but these will make the heist a whole lot easier.
Heist Finale
By now you must have acquired everything you need. Buy some support crew if you can. They will damage the enemy defences or can provide you supply drops. You will require Velum Plane to obtain weapon stash during missions. Make sure you disengage the control tower at the landing strip. It will help your support crew in carrying out their job.
Keep a low head while swimming to the compound. Make sure to avoid detection and the mines in the water. Try not to startle the guards. Also, avoid Helicopters to not get caught. You can play the Cayo Perico heist solo, but you will need some company to access the item locked behind doors.
There are several checkpoints in the heist, so even if you die, don’t worry. Once you reach the vault, Pavel will text you the code.
