Exciting news awaits Marvel cinematic universe’s buff. The Falcon and the Winter soldier will kick off on their new missions very soon. The long-awaited shows “Falcon” and “The Winter Soldier” will be broadcast on Disney + Hotstar starting on March 19, 2021. Originally, the show was supposed to premiere in August 2020.
Marvel studios recently released some new pictures from the upcoming series. Most of these pictures highlight our star duo- Sam and Bucky. In these new images, we get to see Bucky’s new cybernetic arm, with black and gold patterns. We also get to see Sam with Captain America’s shield.
Other images feature show’s notable characters. In one picture we see Sam and Bucky fighting alongside Sharon Carter. Sharon Carter, also a S.H.I.E.L.D Agent will be returning to Marvel Universe after a long absence. Agent Carter was last seen in Captain America: Civil War.
The Falcon and the Winter soldier: teaser and poster
Marvel released a short teaser for the most anticipated series from the cinematic giants. A 30 seconds teaser of The Falcon and the Winter soldier was released on Saturday. The teaser gives a glimpse of the superhero twain paired up to dispose of evil’s errands. The events in the series are set after Endgame.
The short clip starts with a voice over. The voice says, “A good friend of mine once said, the price of freedom is high. It always will be. It’s time.” The iconic duo seems to be prepared for an epic fight. The teaser ends with Falcon asking, “Where do we start?” 
Marvel also released a poster for the series. The poster is a treat for the enthralled fans. For the first time, we get to see Zemo in his purple mask with a mysterious masked gang. We also get to see Wyatt Russell as John Walker in his agent gear.
The Falcon and the Winter soldier cast
The Falcon and the Winter soldier are packed with a starry cast. We will see Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprising their respective roles as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. The show will feature lots of familiar faces.
Emily VanCamp and Daniel Bruhal will also return in their individual roles of Sharon Carter and Helmut Zemo. Sharon Carter was Peggy’s grandniece and a skilled S.H.I.E.L.D agent. She was Steve Rogers’ temporary love interest in Civil War. Whereas, Zemo was a Sokovian citizen turned villain. Zemo was responsible for the fight between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers.
The new faces include Wyatt Russell, Desmond Chiam and Miki Ishikawa. Wyatt Russell will portray a US Agent who will battle against our superhero duo. No information yet is available for Chiam and Ishikawa’s role.
